About me

What drives me is the moment when a team clicks — when the ball moves fast, everyone is connected, and the game slows down in your mind even as it speeds up around you. I've always been drawn to the cerebral side of soccer. I play to create, to find the pass before it's obvious, to make the player next to me better. Off the field I founded Kicks by Kids, a nonprofit that collects and donates soccer equipment to kids who need it. Watching a kid like Dante — who I mentor in Newark — fall in love with the game the same way I did reminds me why I play. I'm not the biggest player on the field. I never have been. But I've learned that the game rewards those who think it, not just those who run it. That belief drives everything
