Hi! I am Kaylen Colbray, Mount Vernon Class of 2027, Washington Full Back / Left Wing I'm a dynamic and versatile soccer player hailing from Mount Vernon, Washington. Primarily positioned as a Fullback or Left wing, my adaptability extends to defensive roles, showcasing a well-rounded skill set on the field. With a strong academic background and a commitment to excellence both on and off the pitch, I stay poised to make a significant impact at the collegiate level. Athletic Achievements: During the 2024-2025 season, I earned a starting position on my High School Varsity Soccer team and was proud to finish the year tied for the most goals scored with our senor captain. I also maintained a starting position on my select soccer team, where I took on multiple roles across the field to adapt to our opponents and give our team the best competitive edge. This flexibility reflected both my understanding of the game and my commitment to supporting my teammates in whatever way was needed. My select team competes at the Division 2 level for Northwest United FC, WA. and ECNL-RL NW showcasing talent and dedication in regional competitions across Pacific Northwest and within the state. Instrumental in leading club team to successive promotions, culminating in a State Cup Championship victory. To round out my 2024-25 High School year, I had a strong and rewarding season in Track and Field, qualifying for Districts in my individual 200m event. I also competed as a key member of our relay teams—the 4x100m, 4x200m, and 4x400m—all of which advanced to Districts. Our 4x100m and 4x200m teams went on to compete at the State level, a reflection of our dedication and competitive drive. I’m proud of the hard work that led to these accomplishments and excited to continue building on this momentum in both Soccer and Track & Field throughout my high school career. 100m PR – 13.10 | 200m PR – 26.81 Academic Excellence: Maintains an impressive GPA of 3.96, reflecting a commitment to academic success alongside athletic pursuits. Recognized by peers for academic achievements, receiving honors and accolades within the school community.
